Ghanaian Highlife legendary, Angelina hitmaker Alfred Benjamin Crentsil Popularly known as A.B. Crentsil is celebrated on United Showbiz in his 77th year.

Highlife has been the greatest genre of our identity over the years. One of the people who put Ghana music on the map with Highlife music is A.B. Crentsil.

UTV today on United showbiz put the spotlight on A.B. Crentsil and celebrated him in a grand style.

After enjoying some hit songs from the legendary A.B. Crentsil, Abeiku Santana presented a surprise gift to him

The gift includes:

⁃ Double door freezer

⁃ 65 inches HD LED Television set

⁃ GHC10,000

The Highlife legend was openmouthed to be presented with all these gifts.

A.B. Crentsil however, thanked the management of Despite Media Group for recognizing his works. He added that he will never forget the kind gesture shown to him today.

After the presentation, A.B. Crentsil advised the young artists to take care of themselves and protect the Highlife rhythm.

“Let’s maintain the Highlife rhythm and keep it for Ghana forever and ever”, he said.
