Ghana police service took to Twitter to announce the arrest of a man captured in a viral video discharging a firearm to welcome the new year.
“A collaboration between the Police and the Military Police has led to the arrest of Flt. Sergeant Nicholas Owusu Frimpong in connection with the discharge of a firearm at A&C Mall, East Legon on Friday 31 December 2021”. The police confirmed.

The suspect, Flt. Sergeant Nicholas Owusu Frimpong is said to have been detained by the Military Police whilst investigations continue.
