2022 World Cup: Ghana and Uruguay out of the tournament after Uruguay defeated Ghana - CastinoStudiosgh

Ghana Black Stars already lost hope after Uruguay scored them 2-0 even before the first half-time.

Uruguay doubled its lead over Ghana with Giorgian de Arrascaeta scoring again in the 32nd minute.

Georgian de Arrascaeta scored the first goal of the match in the 26th minute, giving Uruguay a 1-0 lead over Ghana.

The first half could have gone very differently for Ghana as a moment of history repeated itself for the Black Stars.

Both Asamoah Gyan and Dede Ayew missed a penalty against Uruguay

Captain of the side Dede Ayew missed a penalty after the Uruguayan keeper held Mohammed Kudus’ legs and brought him down in the Eighteen-yard box.

Dede Ayew played the ball into the keeper’s hands making him emotionally off from the game.

The midfielder’s two goals came within six minutes and put Uruguay in control of the match.

According to reports, “Ghana looks shocked and confused after the two Uruguay goals.”

The missed penalty took all the confidence out of the Black Stars making them vulnerable for goals.

The two goals came from an assist given by Luiz Suarez who was the biggest rivalry among Ghanaians.

Even though the Black Stars came hard in the second half, non of their efforts resulted in goals at the end of the game making the Black Stars the last in group H as Uruguay picks the 3rd position.

However, Uruguay’s efforts couldn’t see them through as South Koreans won against Portugal putting them ahead of Uruguay.
