Multi-Talented Ghanaian Reggae/dancehall artiste, Sonnie Balli has been confirmed dead by his close friends and family this afternoon on Thursday 9th June 2022.
According to sources, Sonni Balli who has been residing in the United Kingdom experienced heart failure and was rushed to the emergency clinic where he was confirmed dead.
Sonni Balli, born Sonny Kwabena Amoako Akoanor was born in Accra Ghana on 6th June 1982. He was the first of three children.
Talking about his death on the 3FM Drive, Mark said he engaged with Sonni Balli on Monday and the artist was praising his 40th birthday celebration.
"I don't have any desire to accept he is dead since I addressed him simply this Monday. We discussed a few tunes which have been in the studio for a long time now and, surprisingly, he anticipated delivering it on a particular date," he said with a shuddering voice.
