The host of Sedea etie Nie on Adom tv Dakyehene Nana Yaw Asante has asked the government to stop lying about one District one Factory (1D1F) initiative.

The government over the years has invested in the factory of individual private organizations to boost productivity and the industrialization of the country.

In a recent editorial by the journalist, he revealed that the casa de ropa which was one of the factories the government boasts of as an achievement is not in operation.

The government has invested Gh 14.5 million in the casa de ropa project yet no production has been made.

According to Dakyehene, investigations show that the factory lacks raw materials for production, and the factory which was meant to produce bread and other products from sweet potatoes is not serving its purpose after the taxpayer's money has been invested into the venture.

“It is alleged that the owner of the factory needs about Ghc 3 million from the government to start operations”, said the journalist.
