AfroTalks Sets May 24 for Impactful Event After Groundbreaking Media Soirée Accra, Ghana |
AfroTalks has officially confirmed May 24, 2025, as its highly anticipated flagship event date, following a successful media engagement session on May 1. The media soirée, hosted at the prestigious Château Nana Willine Hotel, gathered influential voices from media, business, and cultural sectors to discuss the future of African identity, unity, and growth.

Held under the theme “The African and the Diaspora Dream,”
the session served as a powerful precursor to the main event. Facilitated by
Bright Tenbil on behalf of the AfroTalks team, the dialogue reaffirmed
AfroTalks’ mission to amplify authentic African narratives and foster unity
between the continent and its global diaspora.
A key highlight was a captivating panel discussion featuring prominent voices: Okyeame Kwame, celebrated artist and AfroTalks advisory board member; Emmaline Datey, founder of ICS Africa; and Diallo Sumbry, CEO of The Adinkra Group and also a board member of AfroTalks. Together, they explored the multifaceted nature of the African Dream, covering topics like cultural identity, creative innovation, economic transformation, and diaspora collaboration.
“The African Dream is not just an idea—it’s a call to action,” stated Bright Tenbil during the session. “Africa faces numerous challenges, and we must initiate honest, solution-driven conversations if we are to make real progress.”
