The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has made a significant announcement regarding the reappointment of Otto Addo as the head coach of the Black Stars. During this crucial gathering, the Council meticulously deliberated on the comprehensive report submitted by the search committee.  As part of the agreement, the GFA has proactively engaged with Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund to secure Otto Addo's release for the prestigious coaching role. Addo is poised to sign a substantial 34-month contract, coupled with the option for an additional 24 months. This contractual arrangement underscores a profound commitment to the holistic development and advancement of Ghanaian football.

 President Simeon-Okraku expressed unwavering confidence in Otto Addo's coaching prowess, citing his exceptional performance throughout the interview process. "Otto was exceptional in the interview process and was rated highly by the search committee, hence the decision," President Simeon-Okraku affirmed on ghanafa.org.

 Moreover, President Simeon-Okraku shed light on the rigorous nature of the selection process, emphasizing the caliber of candidates who vied for the coveted position. Despite the presence of several highly qualified individuals, Otto Addo's visionary leadership and strategic acumen set him apart, garnering resounding approval from the committee.

 In a noteworthy development, Borussia Dortmund has graciously granted permission for Otto Addo to join the Ghanaian national team for the upcoming March international window. Following his commitments with the Black Stars, Addo will seamlessly transition back to Borussia Dortmund to fulfill his obligations before officially assuming his role as head coach in May.
