| Police clash with military in Kumasi ‘Suame’ - CastinoStudiosgh ( watch video) |
A team of Police and military personnel has clashed at Suame on Friday morning.
An eyewitness said a non-uniformed military officer was allegedly hit with a rifle by the police.
The report says the military officer who was riding an unlicensed motorbike was earlier stopped by the police but sped off.
The police are said to have chased him and hit him with the back of a rifle and have taken him to the Suame station.
The military man who was not in uniform also called his colleague officers and they clashed with the police.

The conflict at the Suame police station created tension.
The leadership of both institutions has brought out a joint press release commenting on the development.
“The Ghana police service and Ghana Armed Forces have commenced a full-scale investigation into the incident and anyone found culpable will be dealt with administratively and according to the law”, stated the joint press release.
